Frequently Asked Questions about CU Connect and Helpful Tips

How do I sign up for CU Connect?
Complete and submit your CU Connect application online today.

How do I access CU Connect for the first time?
After you've signed up for CU Connect, simply access our website at www.tracycu.org and then click on the CU Connect button. Enter your member account number and four-digit PAL Plus PIN (Personal Identification Number) and 10 digit (alphanumeric) password.

Is there a fee for CU Connect?
No! This convenient service is available to members at no charge.

What if I make a mistake when trying to transfer funds?
Before completing a transaction, CU Connect will prompt you to either "confirm transfer" or "cancel transfer". If you complete a transfer and need assistance, simply call the member service center or send us an e-mail.

Can I change my PIN and/or password?
Yes! Simply click on "PIN Change/Password Change" button in CU Connect and you'll access the information available to change your password or PIN. It is recommended that you change your PIN and/or password frequently.

How far back can I look at my account information?
CU Connect generally retains three months of history on your accounts.

Do I need to "sign off" after each session of CU Connect?
No, but it is highly recommended that you do so that all communication is severed and no one else can use your computer and manipulate your account or view confidential information. CU Connect will automatically "sign off" after 10 minutes of no activity.

Is CU Connect secure?
Yes! CU Connect is protected by sophisticated security features. An encryption process ensures that your information is "scrambled" before it is transmitted over the Internet. CU Connect "decodes" your account information in order to complete your transaction. The system is also protected by a unique "dual-firewall" system designed to allow access to authenticated users only.

Useful safety tips:

  • Change your PIN and password frequently
  • Do not share your password or PIN
  • Close out your browser before leaving your computer
  • Check and reconcile your account often
