Tracy Federal Credit Union was founded on
the philosophy of “People Helping People” in 1964. Today,
we remain more dedicated than ever to that unique principle that
sets us apart from profit-driven financial institutions. Our purpose
is to serve the complete financial needs of our members. We exist
to help you realize your own financial goals through personalized

Your Savings Are Safe at TFCU
As a TFCU Member, you can feel secure knowing your best interests are at the heart of every
TFCU employee. Plus, the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government, insures your deposits up
to $100,000. Joint savings accounts are insured up to an additional $100,000. IRAs are insured separately up to $250,000. Trust

Who Can Join?
TFCU was created to serve the members
of the Tracy community. Membership is open to anyone who:
- Lives in Tracy
- Works in Tracy
- Worships in Tracy
- Attends school in Tracy
- Anyone related to a current TFCU member by
blood, adoption or marriage is eligible to join TFCU, regardless
of where he or she lives.
Pretty simple, isn’t it? Also, with our “Once
a member, always a member” motto you can keep your membership
and benefits for life, no matter where you move, where you work or
how your relationship to a current member changes.
Just drop by our downtown
Tracy branch or the Defense Depot branch and sit
down with one of our friendly Member Services Representatives.
You can open an account, establish membership and apply
for a loan or Visa card — all in just a few minutes.
To open an account and establish your TFCU membership, you will need:
- Valid driver’s license plus proof that
you either live, work or worship in Tracy
- Document showing your Social Security number
(Social Security card or pay stub)
- Cash or check for $30 or more payable to Tracy
Federal Credit Union (TFCU). This will cover your $25 minimum savings
deposit and a one-time $5 membership fee
